
Wisconsin’s Own Screenwriting Contest Finalists!
We are pleased to announce the Finalists for our second annual Wisconsin’s Own Screenwriting Contest, featuring the best screenwriting work from writers across the State.
The four screenplays listed below were scored by the International Screenwriters’ Association professional readers and judged to the best in each of our four contest categories: Best Feature, Best Short, Best TV Pilot and Best Student Script.
The best overall script will be selected by the Wisconsin Screenwriters’ Symposium organizing committee, and will be performed by professional actors at a live table read on Sunday, April 12 during the 2026 Wisconsin Screenwriters’ Symposium, in front of peers, public and industry professionals. The the winning writer will also receive a private one-on-one hour consultation session with a working industry professional (producer, writer or manager).
