- Students REGISTER FOR FREE with valid student ID.
- ALL symposium registrants are able to attend any and all of the events.
- Registration is included for writers participating in the TV Writers’ Room Workshop.
- Registration is included winners for the Wisconsins’ Own Pitch Contest and Wisconsin’s Own Screenplay Contest.
Held in the Pyle Center on the University Wisconsin – Madison’s campus, April 10-12th, 2026, the 2026 Wisconsin Screenwriters’ Symposium featured:

2026 Panelists and Presenters
The Wisconsin Screenwriters’ Symposium is hosted by the Department of Communication Arts. The 2026 Symposium was funded in part by the Anonymous Fund and supported by Our Partners: The International Screenwriters’ Association, The Wisconsin Film Festival, Capital City Theatre, The Madison Arts Council, Embassy Suites, Working Draft Beer and Story Farm.
