Wisconsin’s Own Screenwriting Contest – Semi-Finalist Announcement
We are excited to announce the Semi Finalists for our second annual Wisconsin’s Own Screenwriting Contest. This contest has introduced us to a wide variety of incredible stories by talented writers that all call Wisconsin home.
All Semi-Finalists will move on to the final round, selecting the category winners, with the best overall script performed by professional actors at a live table read on Sunday, April 12 at the 2026 Wisconsin Screenwriters’ Symposium, in front of peers, public and industry professionals. The the winning writer will also receive a private one-on-one hour consultation session with a working industry professional (producer, writer or manager).
