Hosted by the Department of Communication Arts, with support from the International Screenwriters’ Association, the Symposium will take place Friday, April 10 through Sunday, April 12 at the Pyle Center and include:
- Wisconsin’s Own Screenplay Contest – SEMI-FINALISTS ANNOUNCED — 25 writers have advanced in categories that include feature length, short, television, and student-screenplays.
- Wisconsin’s Own Pitch Contest – February 27th submission deadline — pitch your film to industry experts and vie for the chance to receive one-on-one consultation with a creative executive.
- TV Writers’ Room Workshop with Jason Rothenberg (The 100) – February 20th application deadline – apply to join a select group of writers for a hands-on TV writers’ room experience.
